Job Duties
- Provide assistance to the WSP Estimating Department as directed
- Review and evaluate cost estimates
- Communicate with trade partners and team members regarding new and current projects
- Prepare estimates at detail level
- Ensure timely completion of estimates
- Understand scope of work to bid
- Manage bid pricing from all vendors
- Prepare cost analysis
- Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors and subcontractors
- Perform related tasks as directed
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree, from an accredited program, in a relevant Engineering discipline (e.g. Civil Engineering), Construction Management, or equivalent
- Minimum of 1-3 years of full-time experience performing architectural, civil, structural, or utility elements for infrastructure / building construction projects
- Demonstrated skill / expertise in development of Conceptual through Bid Document crew-based and/or unit price cost estimates
- Strong knowledge of On-Screen Takeoff software and MS Office applications
- Strong understanding of construction processes
- Able to demonstrate progressively-increasing responsibility in estimating, working effectively with minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge in use of HCSS HeavyBid, Sage Timberline, or other estimating application
- Construction contractor estimating experience
- MEP, data center, or power generation and transmission estimating experience

Compensation
Expected Salary (all locations): $90,900-111,150
