Associate, Clinical Operations (Data and Systems)

Accountabilities

  • Support day-to-day clinical operations while improving data accuracy, operational efficiency, and internal systems that enable high-quality patient care.
  • Cook up patient panel transitions and coverage activities during clinician changes, extended leave, or operational shifts.
  • Manage patient reassignment processes, update internal records, and coordinate handoffs between clinical and operational teams.
  • Maintain operational trackers, reports, and Google Sheets-based tools through data cleanup, updates, and process improvements.
  • Partner with data teams to develop stronger analytics capabilities and gradually take ownership of dashboards and reporting workflows.
  • Provide operational support to clinicians by addressing routine questions and coordinating resolutions.
  • Maintain documentation, standard operating procedures, and operational resources to ensure consistency across teams.
  • Collaborate with data, engineering, clinical, and operations teams to troubleshoot system issues and support process improvements.
  • Aid with special projects, pilots, and initiatives that improve the efficiency and scalability of clinical operations.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills, analytical thinking, and operational discipline.
  • An interest in healthcare technology and process improvement.
  • 1-3 years of experience in operations, healthcare operations, administrative analytics, or a similar role.
  • Experience in a healthcare technology, telehealth, or high-growth startup environment is preferred.
  • Strong Google Sheets skills, including formulas, pivot tables, data organization, and cleanup.
  • Ability to interpret and navigate business intelligence tools such as Lightdash, Looker, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Interest in developing data analytics skills and learning how to build dashboards and operational reports.
  • SQL knowledge is a plus but not required.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong accuracy in managing operational data and documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, recurring tasks, and changing requirements in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify issues, investigate root causes, and recommend improvements.
  • Comfortable balancing administrative responsibilities with opportunities to improve systems and workflows.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and motivated by improving healthcare experiences for patients and providers.
