Associate Client Manager (Construction)
Responsibilities
- Supports and demonstrates IMA’s core values.

- Pursues formal and informal training to develop into an Account Manager.
- Demonstrates competencies to own a book of business but does not yet own one.
- Shadows Account Manager (AM) and assists on renewals.
- Demonstrates proficiency to perform all job tasks with Account Executive (AE) & AM oversight, including:
- Using the client workbook, and under the direction of the Account Executive, creates the marketing submission and manages ongoing negotiations with carriers.
- Receives quotes, reviews for accuracy and desired coverages, terms, and pricing from submission, generates and populates the proposal, and sends to Account Executive for completion/review.
- Receives policies, sends instructions to the applicable Center of Excellence (COE) and keeps COE abreast of any changes that occur during negotiations with the ability to process the policy if needed.
- Handles premium allocations, surplus lines template preparation, Certificate of Insurance request template preparation & master approval, on-demand certificates, basic contract reviews, policy endorsements, resolving coverage and premium discrepancy issues, and audits on expired and/or non-renewed policies.
Requirements
- Experience in insurance or related industry.
- Ability to work within AMS and maintain data completeness standards.
- High level of organization and ability to interface with clients and carriers.
- Ability to delegate to appropriate parties when necessary.
- Experience with MS Office products required (specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel).
- Some travel required (up to 10% depending on book of business & industry).
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.

Pay
Salary Range: $70,000 USD - $80,000 USD
