Associate Chief Medical Information Officer
About the role
The Associate Chief Medical Information Officer (ACMIO) reports to the Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO) and contributes to strategy especially as it relates to an area of focus (i.e., a group of facilities or a clinical practice area such as inpatient or ambulatory medicine). This role may potentially have dotted line reporting relationship to the regional IS&T leader. The incumbent works closely with Physician and Medical Informaticists on projects as needed. This position may still practice medicine and serves as a physician champion. Hospital-based leaders may have a dual matrixed reporting structure.
Requirements
- Current board certification in a clinical specialty field and board eligibility or certification in the subspecialty of Clinical Informatics, with unrestricted license to practice medicine in Washington state
- Minimum five (5) years of private practice experience with active clinical practice
- Epic experience preferred
- Clinical management experience preferred
- Prior leadership experience in large scale change efforts in the clinical and/or informatics functional area

Pay and benefits
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. The pay scale is $270,492.00 - $392,459.73 USD. Pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
