Associate Chief Medical Information Officer

About the role

For our client, we are seeking an Associate Chief Medical Information Officer to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will support clinical priorities focused on quality, patient-centered outcomes, and effective care delivery. You will collaborate with clinical leaders, operational teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve standards, workflows, and execution. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen care quality, team performance, and measurable outcomes within a healthcare environment.

Location & compensation

Location: Tacoma, WA – US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available. Compensation: $270,492 – $392,459 annually.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the CMIO on strategic initiatives
• Lead projects with Physician and Medical Informaticists
• Act as a physician champion while practicing medicine
• Contribute to optimizing clinical informatics solutions
• Assist in enhancing operational efficiencies in healthcare delivery

Qualifications

• Current board certification in a clinical specialty and board eligibility or certification in Clinical Informatics
• Unrestricted license to practice medicine in Washington state
• Minimum five years of active clinical practice experience
• Epic experience preferred for system familiarity
• Experience in clinical management and leadership during large scale changes
