About the role
The role is responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients in various departments across the hospital, including but not limited to the Neuropsychiatric Special Care, Oncology Clinic, and Child Life Anschutz.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical interpretation services for non-English speaking patients and their families.
- Perform radiologic procedures under the supervision of a licensed radiologic technologist.
- Assist patients with vascular access needs, including PICC line insertion and maintenance.
- Support sleep study technicians in conducting diagnostic tests and ensuring patient comfort.
- Collaborate with financial clearance coordinators to ensure accurate insurance verification and billing processes.
- Operate sterile processing equipment to prepare instruments for sterilization and distribution.
- Contribute to research activities by assisting with data collection and analysis in clinical trials.
- Support behavioral health specialists in providing therapeutic interventions and crisis management.
- Engage in child life activities to promote emotional and psychological well-being among pediatric patients.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid CPR certification.
- Experience in relevant healthcare field preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Current certification in medical interpreting.
- Knowledge of sterile processing techniques and infection control practices.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR).

Pay
$30.00 - $40.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
