Associate Category Manager - Deli

About the role

The Associate Category Manager – Deli develops and executes customer-focused category strategies, oversees assortment planning, product innovation, merchandising, pricing, promotions, sourcing, and supplier management. They drive category performance by managing sales, margins, inventory, and identifying growth opportunities using data and customer insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead assortment decisions and product lifecycle management
• Evaluate product performance and identify growth opportunities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Operations, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Procurement
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships and negotiate terms
• Support product launches and ensure product quality and availability

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
• 3+ years of experience in merchandising or related fields
• Strong analytical skills and experience with P&L, margins, and inventory management
