Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Complete the claims training program through classroom study, hands-on training, and independent study.
- Investigate, evaluate, and conclude casualty claims of complex nature.
- Adjust losses in excess of $5,000 required.
- Aptitude for first and third-party claims.
- Collaborate with teammates to effectively navigate claims.
- Investigate and evaluate coverage issues.
- Support company, departmental, and managerial decisions through positive interpretation, application, and communication of company information and policies.
- Perform special projects as assigned.

Education &/Or Experience
- College Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Consideration will be given to applicants with an associate's degree.
- Work experience in the property/casualty insurance industry is preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated desire to learn through completion of various IIA/CPCU or other recognized industry courses desired.
Physical Requirements
- Sit, reach with hands and arms to operate computer keyboard.
- Talk and hear.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk.
- Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
