Associate Care Director

About the Role

Aegis Gardens in Fremont is seeking an Associate Care Director (ACD) to provide quality care to elderly residents and leadership to care staff. The ACD is an integral member of the healthcare team, assisting with the implementation of care functions, medication passes, and staff scheduling to ensure safe resident care. Fluency in both English and Chinese is required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule all community care staff
• Find coverage for care staff call-outs
• Manage care-related forms and report staff overtime
• Work direct personal care shifts as directed by the Care Director
• Assist in training of care staff
• Participate in management of staff
• Opportunity for growth to Care Director

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in caregiving for elderly patients or residents
• 1+ year of experience as a Medication Technician with nurse delegation in Senior Living
• Commitment to high-quality standards for resident care
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Skilled at building positive relationships with residents, families, and care team members
• Strong computer skills
• Effective communication skills (oral and written)
• Ability to maintain resident confidentiality
• Must be willing to take a 2-step TB test

Pay

Minimum Salary: USD $23.00/Hr. | Maximum Salary: USD $28.00/Hr.
