Associate Care Director

About the role

Aegis Living Laguna Niguel is seeking an Associate Care Director (ACD) to provide quality care to elderly residents and leadership to care staff. The ACD is an integral member of the health care team, assisting with the implementation of all care functions and medication passes, and supporting the scheduling of care staff to ensure safe resident care.

Responsibilities

• Schedule all community care staff
• Find coverage for care staff call-outs
• Manage care-related forms and report staff overtime
• Work direct personal care shifts as directed by the Care Director
• Assist in training of care staff
• Participate in management of staff
• Opportunity for growth to Care Director

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in caregiving for elderly patients or residents
• 1+ year of experience as a Medication Technician with nurse delegation in Senior Living
• Commitment to high-quality standards for resident care
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Skilled at building positive relationships with residents, families, and care team members
• Strong computer skills
• Effective oral and written communication techniques
• Ability to maintain resident confidentiality
• Must be willing to take a 2-step TB test

Schedule

2:30pm - 10:30pm with weekend availability.

Pay

Minimum salary: USD $25.00/Hr. Maximum salary: USD $27.00/Hr.
