About the role

National Buying Services is dedicated to acquiring goods for ALDI customers. The team works to secure quality products at the lowest possible prices through various departments including Administration, Merchandising, Pricing, Quality Assurance, Analytics, and more. The Associate Buyer role supports these efforts and helps shape the product assortment.

Responsibilities

• Support the buying team and work with suppliers to ensure great products are in stores that align with customer preferences.
• Merge creativity, problem-solving, and supplier communication in a fast-paced environment.
• Develop a wide range of products that meet or exceed quality standards.
• Manage multiple projects and tasks in a dynamic and evolving market.

Requirements

• Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
• The ability to think critically and handle multiple responsibilities.
• Experience in a similar role or equivalent education and experience.

Qualifications

• Average 30 or more hours per week within an annual lookback period.
• Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Pay

Starting Wage: $28.75 per hour
Wage Increases: Year 2 - $29.75 | Year 3 - $30.75 | Year 4 - $31.75

Eligible for ALDI’s Hybrid Work Program allowing remote work up to 3 days per week.
