Associate, Bilingual Client Services Representative (Spanish Required)

About the role

This role is part of Schwab's team dedicated to providing comprehensive financial services to both domestic and international clients. It includes responsibilities such as assisting with trading activities, managing account servicing inquiries, and performing document translation services.

Responsibilities

• Service international and domestic clients with a full range of service and trading needs
• Aid clients in trading stocks, ETFs, mutual funds, and options
• Handle general account servicing inquiries
• Support clients in Stock Plan Services with evening and overnight shifts
• Create and maintain relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction and success

Requirements

• Must be fluent in both English and Spanish
• Series 7 & 63 licenses required or must successfully obtain these licenses within the allotted training time
• Well-developed and effective communication skills
• Structured schedule adherence and availability for lunch and break times
• Positive attitude, professionalism, and strong work ethic
• Willingness to learn in a fast-paced and evolving environment

Qualifications

• Required: Series 7 & 63 licenses
• Preferred: 2+ years of college study in finance, economics, business administration, or related area; bachelor’s degree preferred
• Preferred: 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in financial services; 1+ years of experience working with clients through phone, chats, and emails
• Preferred: Basic to intermediate knowledge of investment products and ability to explain these subjects via phone, chat, and email
• Preferred: Flexible and adaptable to work shifts, especially early mornings

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, the ability to handle complex investment products, and a positive attitude towards client service.
