Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one instruction to children diagnosed with autism spectrum or related disorders.
- Implement behavioral therapy strategies and intervention components based on a treatment plan prepared and directed by a BCBA, BCBA-D, or Licensed Psychologist.
- Work in a setting that may involve potentially volatile care situations.
- Ensure safety measures are in place to prevent bodily harm.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
- Experience working with individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum or related disorders.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Experience working under the supervision of a BCBA or BCBA-D.
