Duties & Responsibilities

  • Drafts legal pleadings, notices of hearings, motions, and orders.
  • Researches and analyzes statutes, judicial decisions, legal articles, codes, and the like.
  • Updates case management system in a timely manner to ensure data integrity.
  • Travels to court for court appearance and visits client sites, as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • J.D from an ABA accredited law school
  • New Jersey Bar Admission required, additional admission in PA or NY (or both) a bonus; Must be admitted to Federal District Court of NJ
  • 1 - 3 years bankruptcy court and litigation experience preferred
  • 1 - 3 years Bankruptcy experience preferred
  • Previous experience with electronic case management systems, CaseAware experience a plus
  • Knowledge of laws related to practice areas, legal codes and court procedures
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills to communicate with other attorneys, staff and clients
  • Must able to positively interact and collaborate with clients and employees at all levels
  • Must be flexible, self-directed, and motivated
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Able to handle a large volume of cases
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, such as Outlook and Word
  • Valid Driver’s License

Benefits

  • An origination incentive of 20% offered for any additional business brought into S&E.

Pay

$100,000-$125,000K++, based on experience.

Schedule

This is a hybrid / remote position with the ability to physically work from any of the Firm’s regional offices in PA, NJ, NY or DE.
