Associate Attorney, Workers' Compensation (Remote - California)

About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Attorney to join our team in Burbank, CA. Associates will report directly to an assigned Senior Associate and are supported by a large team of paralegals and support staff. Candidates must be California State Barred and reside in the state of California.
Responsibilities
- Manage a docket of cases to resolution
- Prepare clients for depositions and attend depositions
- Handle invoicing for depositions
- Respond to client inquiries requiring attorney negotiations and move matters toward resolution
- Respond promptly to incoming emails and phone calls
- Provide direction and guidance to non-attorneys as needed
- Bring positivity to the workplace and lead non-attorneys by example
- Participate in team events during and after work hours
- Provide feedback to management to improve firm performance for clients
Qualifications
- Comfortable with fast-paced work environments
- Experience with doctors' depositions (preferred)
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must be in good standing with the California State Bar
