Overview

Kelley Kronenberg is seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to join our Workers’ Compensation Defense practice. This is a fully remote position open to candidates residing anywhere in the State of Florida.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse caseload of Workers’ Compensation defense matters from inception through resolution, operating with a high degree of autonomy within a collaborative remote environment.
  • Partner with senior attorneys to execute complex litigation strategies and client consultations.
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of medical records to guide case development and liability assessments.
  • Draft substantive legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery responses.
  • Maintain proactive communication with clients, carriers, and employers to ensure strategic alignment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2+ years of practice experience specifically within Workers’ Compensation.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) and an active member of the Florida Bar in good standing.

Skills

  • Exceptional analytical, writing, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage deadlines and utilize legal technology effectively in a virtual setting.
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing complex medical records and drafting concise legal arguments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working in a fully remote or hybrid legal environment.
  • Comfort with virtual court proceedings, depositions, and mediations.
