Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in foreclosure, bankruptcy, replevin, and related court proceedings.
  • Draft and review motions, pleadings, and correspondence.
  • Attend court hearings in person and virtually.
  • Provide legal oversight and collaborate with support staff.
  • Deliver responsive, client-focused legal services in a high-volume practice.

Requirements

  • Licensed in Tennessee (required).
  • 3-5+ years of experience (all qualified applicants considered).
  • Strong legal writing, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and driven.

Bonus qualifications: Multi-state licensure, litigation, bankruptcy, or collections experience, federal licensure.

Schedule & Location

  • Location: Remote (Tennessee)
  • Travel: Local court-related travel required

Conditions of Work

  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods.
  • Ability to remain focused for extended periods.
  • Ability to work on computers for a significant portion of the day.
  • Ability to perform repetitive movements as required for the position (typing, clicking, swiveling).
  • Ability to multi-task.

This position requires authorization to work in the United States. The firm participates in E-Verify, and all newly hired employees must complete the I-9 form and provide documentation of identity and work eligibility.
