Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of personal injury defense matters, including discovery, motions, depositions, and trial preparation.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, insurance carriers, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Participate in strategy meetings, case evaluations, and settlement negotiations.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable rules, regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Mentor and collaborate with junior staff as needed.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida Bar and in good standing.
  • 3–7 years of experience in personal injury defense litigation (4–10 years acceptable; product liability experience a plus but not mandatory).
  • Strong trial, litigation, negotiation, and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • High degree of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to client service.
  • Ability to travel is required.
