Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of personal injury defense matters, including discovery, motions, depositions, and trial preparation
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Communicate effectively with clients, insurance carriers, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Participate in strategy meetings, case evaluations, and settlement negotiations
- Ensure compliance with all applicable rules, regulations, and ethical standards
- Mentor and collaborate with junior staff as needed
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Admission to the Florida Bar and in good standing
- 3–7 years of experience in personal injury defense litigation (4–10 years preferred)
- Experience in product liability is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong trial, litigation, negotiation, and written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- High degree of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to client service
Pay
$120,000 - $150,000 per year
