Associate Attorney - Global Transportation Finance
The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance associate to join the Global Transportation Finance team in our Los Angeles office. Our cohesive and collaborative team has a diverse and unique multidisciplinary practice that gives you the opportunity to work closely with shareholders and to participate in business development and client-facing activities. Our platform supports and encourages career development and thrives on excellent client service. You would join a team of more than 60 lawyers representing major banks, leasing companies, airlines, hedge funds, private equity firms and other investors in a wide range of complex international and domestic transactions focusing on the financing, leasing, acquisition and disposition, restructuring and enforcement of aviation, rail, maritime and general equipment assets.
About You
- You have 2-5 years of transactional experience at a law firm
- You have experience in one or more of the following: securitization, leveraged finance, secured lending, capital markets, maritime, private equity, project finance, structured finance, real estate finance, aviation, rail
- You have strong contract drafting and negotiating skills as well as organizational skills
- You have experience managing multiple matters simultaneously
- You have a J.D. degree (or its equivalent) and strong academic credentials, and you are admitted in (and in good standing with) or taking steps to become admitted in California
