Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload involving:Personal Injury DefensePremises LiabilityProducts LiabilityTransportation LitigationHabitability Defense
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal briefs.
- Conduct legal research and analysis.
- Attend court hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and depositions.
- Participate in all phases of litigation, including discovery and motion practice.
- Assist with trial preparation and case strategy.
- Communicate effectively with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Maintain compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Active California Bar membership in good standing.
- U.S. work authorization required.
- 5-7+ years of civil litigation or insurance defense experience.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas:Personal Injury DefensePremises LiabilityProducts LiabilityTransportation LitigationHabitability Defense
- Strong legal writing, research, and advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $130,000 - $170,000 annually (DOE)
