Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload involving business law, real estate law, litigation, and transactional matters.
- Handle business and real estate disputes through all phases, including pre-litigation, mediation, arbitration, settlement, and trial.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, legal memoranda, and other litigation documents.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and provide strategic legal analysis.
- Appear in court proceedings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, purchase agreements, leases, operating agreements, corporate governance documents, and other transactional agreements.
- Advise clients on business formation, corporate governance, commercial transactions, risk management, and real estate matters.
- Collaborate on complex litigation matters, including mass tort cases.
- Communicate directly with clients, develop legal strategies, identify business and legal risks, and manage matters independently.
Requirements
- Active California Bar license in good standing.
- 4+ years of experience in business law, real estate law, litigation, and transactional matters.
- Strong interest in business and real estate law.
- Excellent legal writing, research, analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills.
- Experience independently managing legal matters and client relationships.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
