Associate Attorney

About the role

A hybrid Family Law Associate Attorney position is available at Modern Family Law, a national law firm specializing in Family Law. The role offers a remote-first setting with the option for in-person work as needed by courts and clients. Billable hours are flexible at 100 per month, with direct client contact and the opportunity to develop substantive litigation skills early in your career.

Responsibilities

• Handle a variety of family law cases, including divorce, custody, and child and spousal support.
• Communicate directly with clients, draft legal documents, conduct depositions, attend court appearances, and mediate disputes.
• Operate efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple responsibilities with attention to detail.
• Collaborate effectively within a team-oriented setting, contributing to the overall success of the team.

Requirements

• 0-3 years of Family Law experience, with preference for those with litigation experience.
• Active admission to the Washington State Bar.
• Exceptional writing and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with a client-focused mindset.

Pay

$130,000 - $199,680 annually, with adjustments based on experience, location, billable hour expectations, and other job-related factors as permitted by law.

Schedule

This role offers a flexible schedule with the option to work remotely after 6 months.
