Associate Attorney

About the role

The Asheville, North Carolina office of Hall Booth Smith, P.C. (HBS) is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their expanding civil litigation practice group. This is an opportunity to join a growing team and office, learn from experienced litigators, participate in case strategy and development, and both interact with and develop firm clients.

Responsibilities

• Advise and represent clients in civil litigation matters
• Contribute to case strategy and development
• Interact with and develop firm clients

Requirements

• 3+ years of civil litigation experience
• Experience in insurance defense preferred
• Active member in good standing of the North Carolina bar

Qualifications

• JD degree from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice law in North Carolina

Skills

• Strong analytical and research skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
