Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of contracts, agreements, and transactional documents
- Manage transactions from inception through closing
- Conduct due diligence and provide strategic transactional analysis
- Advising clients on business transactions, compliance matters, and contractual risk
- Collaborate with clients, opposing counsel, lenders, and other parties throughout the transaction process
- Mentor junior attorneys and assist with complex transactional matters as needed
- Maintain organized files and effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active admission to practice law in Texas
- 5+ years of transactional attorney experience
- Strong knowledge of contracts, business transactions, and transactional procedures
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client communication skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to independently manage sophisticated transactions in a fast-paced environment
