About the role
This position is an immediate opening for an experienced associate within Burr & Forman’s Wilmington, DE office. Specializing in corporate bankruptcy and creditors’ rights matters, as well as commercial litigation in federal and state courts, the associate will handle all aspects of the firm’s practice in Delaware.
Responsibilities
- Handle all aspects of the firm’s practice in Delaware.
- Specialize in corporate bankruptcy and creditors’ rights matters.
- Handle commercial litigation in federal and state courts.
- Conduct thorough legal research.
- Write clear and persuasive legal documents.
- Organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Analyze complex legal issues and develop sound strategies.
Requirements
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
- Membership in the Delaware State Bar.
- Excellent academic credentials.
- Strong research, writing, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Qualified to practice law in Delaware.

Pay
The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation. Actual compensation is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to, education, work experience, geographic location, skills and competencies, industry knowledge, job responsibilities, market considerations and other business considerations.
