Summary Of The Position

Asset Management focuses on asset strategy, business plan development and execution, investment performance, investment decision analysis, lease analysis, redevelopment management, and refinancing/disposition analysis within the operating portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical support to assist with the asset management function of existing properties, including quarterly valuations, cash management, hold/sell analyses, and other ad hoc sensitivity analyses
  • Work with 3rd party leasing team to analyze and negotiate new leasing deals
  • Complete market research – through third-party data providers and communication with local brokers – to compile relevant lease comparable, sale comparable, competitive sets, development pipelines, and general market data
  • Prepare presentation materials and proposals with responsibility for written and graphic requirements
  • Analyze and manage tracking of various ongoing capital projects in coordination with design & construction teams and property management
  • Execute on or establish an asset’s business plan; coordinate with investment partners and participate in meetings with internal teams as well third-party consultants, such as architects, engineers, and marketing agencies, in furtherance of the asset’s business plan
  • Manage refinancing and disposition activities, as they arise

Skills & Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in an analytically rigorous Real Estate or Finance environment
  • Evident passion for real estate and desire to build a career on the principal side
  • Strong creative problem-solving skills
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in Excel, ARGUS Enterprise, and financial modeling
  • The ability to work effectively with both peers and senior executives in a highly entrepreneurial, team-oriented environment
  • Unwavering attention to detail

Pay

The base compensation range for this role is $115,000 to $130,000. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, as well as access to our comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability insurance, 401(k) plan (with matching contributions), wellness benefits and all other benefits afforded to full-time Tishman Speyer employees.
