Associate Art Director w/ a Sense of Humor - Marketing

Overview

This is a hands-on visual leadership role at Shinesty, a company that makes people laugh first and sell second. The role involves leading the marketing visual identity and the team that brings it to life, managing designers and creative production, and setting the visual look and feel for Shinesty's marketing.

Requirements

• Visual Direction Lead, overseeing and executing art direction and production art for Shinesty's marketing channels and brand touch points
• Actively contributing to the creation of marketing design assets while reviewing and providing feedback to the design team
• Collaborating with CD and other C-level executives to evolve marketing brand guidelines, design systems, and best practices
• Crafting and refining smart style guides, brand guidelines, ad/email and other templates to provide a usable sandbox for junior production artists
• Building and delivering mood boards, creative decks, shot lists, and direction documents that guide photographers, production teams, and graphic designers
• Staying close to the work at every stage: reviewing, refining, and sending it back when it's not ready, as well as executing

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in an art direction field, preferably at an ad agency or other internal brand team
• A master project manager and communicator
