About the role
The Associate Application Analyst supports the management, maintenance, and optimization of assigned applications within Temple Health. This position contributes to application-related initiatives by assisting with project activities, supporting established timelines, and participating in the development, testing, implementation, and ongoing support of new functionality, version releases, and system upgrades.
Responsibilities
- Affix the resolution of application-related issues and provide entry-level technical and functional application analysis.
- Support the definition, documentation, and validation of system requirements.
- Participate in development, testing, implementation, and support activities for new functionality, version releases, and system upgrades.
- Contribute to logical data development and assist with application configuration changes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, operational stakeholders, and Temple Health leadership to understand application functionality and support process improvement.
- Help improve end-user efficiency and productivity through effective application support and issue resolution.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field Preferred
- 1 year experience in related role with an ability to troubleshoot, research, and solve problems efficiently Required
- General Experience and knowledge of basic hardware configurations, database management tools, and query language Required
- Entry-level experience supporting business, clinical, healthcare, or information systems applications preferred.
- Basic understanding of system analysis, application support, testing, documentation, and issue resolution processes Preferred
- General Experience In Healthcare IT Preferred
- Experience supporting or working with Laboratory Information Systems Preferred
- Familiarity With Clinical Laboratory Workflows Preferred
- Familiarity with anatomic pathology workflows Preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams, operational departments, and leadership stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
