Arthaat Legal is hiring for the positions of Associate and Assessment Intern in the Corporate Compliance & Legal Advisory practice.

About the role

The selected candidates will gain practical exposure to drafting, statutory audits, compliance advisory, and corporate legal work while contributing to client mandates.

Eligibility

• Final-year law students graduating in 2026, or recent law graduates from 2024–2025 with a focus on Corporate Law, Compliance, or Regulatory Advisory.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent statutory research skills.
• Strong drafting abilities.
• Prompt and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct compliance audits and risk assessments relating to Labour Codes, statutory compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
• Draft, vet, and structure corporate and commercial contracts, including vendor and retainer agreements.
• Assist with strategic compliance advisory, including corporate governance and operational compliance.
• Provide support on intellectual property advisory matters, including basic IP clearance, agreements, and rights management.

Additional Information

• Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a 36-hour practical drafting exercise before interview calls.
• Mode: Remote / Hybrid (with client-site or alignment visits in Delhi-NCR or other locations, as required).
