Associate Analyst, Retirement Partners

About the role

The ideal candidate will understand the financial services industry and a willingness to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced, customer-driven environment. The Associate Analyst will support project & task assignments related to the facilitation of client mailings, block transfers, and data mining. They will regularly exercise excellent business judgment and research and resolve data issues.

Responsibilities

• Support and collaborate with more experienced colleagues and leverage opportunities to increase knowledge and responsibilities
• Jointly participate in project & task assignments with other team members to gain experience in policies and procedures related to the facilitation of proposals, onboarding new business, and managing provider relationships in support of sales
• Assume responsibility of less complex projects & tasks while developing fundamental concepts, practices and procedures
• Regularly exercise excellent business judgment; research and resolve departmental issues that increase efficiency
• Maintain accurate and current documentation where appropriate and work with appropriate parties to ensure timely deliverables
• Pro-active communication with all responsible parties for updates and reporting
• Become accomplished in use of all relevant department tools and resources

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of experience in data management or analytics

Preferences

• Intermediate skills in MS Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint (Access a plus)
• Project management experience highly desired

Pay

$20.85–$34.71/hour. Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
