Associate Analyst, Project Finance - CBS

About the role

This role in the Commercial Business Solutions team assists financial governance for Constellation's Commercial IT Projects.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual IT project financials and forecasts.
• Aid in the preparation of variance analysis and explanations for IT projects and department budgets, including capital and operations and maintenance.
• Collaborate with PMO and IT leaders to track project milestones, expenditures, and return on investment.
• Assist with cost benefit analyses and business case development for proposed IT investments, including capital and operations and maintenance determinations.
• Record related journal entries and accruals.
• Ensure compliance with internal governance and financial policies and external regulatory standards.
• Support tracking of project milestones, KPIs, and reporting cadence to ensure visibility.
• Travel required as necessary to meet business needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or related financial field
• Analytical understanding of finance and accounting
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI)

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (e.g. CPA, CFA, MBA) preferred
• PMP Certification preferred

Pay

Expected salary range of $63,000 to $70,000, varies based on experience.
