Job Duties
- Provide strategic and operational oversight for clinical service lines within Harris Health, ensuring alignment with departmental and institutional priorities.
- Serve as the primary administrative representative for the Department of Medicine at Harris Health meetings and committees.
- Identify operational challenges and implement solutions to improve efficiency, access, and overall service line performance.
- Collaborate with Medical Directors to support clinical operations, address day-to-day operational issues, and implement improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate regular review of service line performance, including productivity, access, and operational metrics.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex issues impacting clinical operations.
- Support development and execution of service line growth plans in collaboration with departmental and hospital leadership.
- Ensure service lines operate in alignment with approved staffing plans and resource models.
- Support recruitment planning and onboarding efforts to meet operational needs.
- Monitor provider scheduling and staffing alignment to ensure efficient operations.
- Develop and maintain reporting tools to support performance monitoring and decision-making.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Five years of relevant experience including prior experience in a management role.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Experience overseeing multi-division or multi-service-line operations.
- Strong background in finance, research administration, or clinical operations within an academic health system.
- Strong strategic thinking and organizational acumen.
- Advanced financial and analytic skills.
- Excellent communication skills and executive presence.
- Ability to build trust, develop leaders, and foster collaboration across diverse stakeholders.
