Assocaite Technical Designer( Women’s RTW)

About the role

We are seeking an Associate Technical Designer to support the Women’s Ready-to-Wear team in the San Fernando Valley area. This role partners closely with Design, Product Development, Production, and vendors to help ensure fit, construction, and specifications are accurate throughout the development process.

Responsibilities

• Assist with fit development from initial samples through production.
• Create and maintain tech packs, measurement specs, construction details, and fit comments.
• Prepare samples for fittings and document clear, actionable fit notes.
• Support the Technical Designer with garment evaluations, pattern corrections, and sample tracking.
• Communicate updates with cross-functional partners and vendors.
• Help ensure product quality, consistency, and adherence to calendar deadlines.
• Maintain organized technical files, approvals, and development records.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of technical design experience, preferably in women’s apparel or RTW.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fit, grading, and measurement specifications.
• Experience creating tech packs and reviewing fit samples.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator; PLM experience is a plus.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and follow-through in a fast-paced environment.
