About the role

The Associate Territory Manager within our Abrasives – Automotive Aftermarket Sales team will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic growth plan for their respective territory. The individual will be held accountable for performing critical tasks that are customary components of sales administration, including time and territory management, activity tracking through the use of a Salesforce, establishing growth through conversion of competitive market share, and establishing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

This position is a key growth opportunity and a great way to learn all aspects of the business. The incumbent will travel extensively within a large, assigned geographical territory to support selling efforts, demonstrate products, and facilitate hands-on training on the proper application and use of all products in Saint-Gobain’s automotive aftermarket refinishing product portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for an assigned territory
  • Manage time and territory effectively, including activity tracking via Salesforce
  • Drive growth by converting competitive market share
  • Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Travel extensively within a large geographical territory to support sales efforts
  • Demonstrate products and facilitate hands-on training on proper application and use

Requirements

  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and managing medium to large customer accounts
  • Strong technical aptitude and passion for the automotive refinishing industry
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across a geographically assigned territory
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative team environment and can work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to deliver compelling product demonstrations, training sessions, and customer presentations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • High school diploma with 1 to 3 years of progressively responsible technical sales experience in automotive refinishing or a related field will also be considered

Pay

The national pay range for this position is $72,500 to $111,500 per year. The base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus.
