Assoc Dir, Thought Leader Liaison (Northwest)
About the role
The Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison is responsible for engaging with thought leaders and developing and executing peer-to-peer initiatives to align with strategic brand plans. This role requires collaboration with multiple cross-functional internal teams and integrates KOL insights to drive brand awareness and performance.
Responsibilities
- Identify, profile, develop, and foster commercial relationships with physician key opinion thought leaders (KOLs)
- Represent and consolidate KOL input in the development of brand strategy
- Manage KOL activities and contacts at identified key congresses and societies by attending local, regional, and national conferences
- Apply knowledge and learnings of regional and national nuances to assess the effectiveness of key marketing tactics and make strategic recommendations
- Lead and manage multiple projects compliantly, efficiently, and effectively to deliver high-quality output
- Cultivate and manage relationships with third-party agency partners in the development and execution of field-based initiatives
- Develop and manage a compliant and industry-leading peer-to-peer (P2P) education platform to ensure optimal reach and frequency to identified customer base aligned with brand strategy and marketing
- Speaker bureau vendor management across disease portfolio
- Lead partnerships with field leadership in assigned geography to optimize implementation of field-based commercial initiatives
- Effective collaboration with internal cross-functional partners including leadership, brand, sales, compliance, legal, finance, market research, medical affairs, training, and IT
Requirements
Minimum of 7 years of work experience in marketing or related functions, with experience in thought leader engagement, advisory boards, and speaker bureau management preferred. Demonstrated project management skills, effective planning and management of multiple priorities, and strong communication and influencing skills are essential. Hematology/Oncology experience is required, and experience with vendors and managing projects via third parties is preferred.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, management consulting, or other field related experience. Sales experience is strongly preferred.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $190,000 - $225,000. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
