ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY SUPERVISOR
About the role
The Assistive Technology Supervisor is responsible for receiving orders for special positioning equipment, altering, customizing, and constructing assistive equipment, maintaining and repairing assistive or rehabilitative equipment and devices, and supporting the training of Assistive Technology Trainees.
Responsibilities
- Receives orders for special positioning equipment needed by individuals with physical disabilities.
- Alters, customizes, and constructs assistive equipment from specific and detailed instructions.
- Maintains and repairs assistive or rehabilitative equipment and devices.
- Supports the training of Assistive Technology Trainees.
Requirements
This position requires the ability to work in various areas within the facility and to lift up to 100 lbs with assistance.
Qualifications
Must possess and maintain sufficient strength, agility, endurance, and sensory ability to perform the duties contained in the duty statement.
Skills
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.
