Assisted Living Nurse Manager

Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day-to-day management of resident care within the community.
• Effectively manage the team of caregivers, ensuring adequate day-to-day staffing and scheduling.
• Contribute to the assessment of residents, develop plan of care, and implement health care services for Assisted Living residents.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to perform duties in compliance with established Standard Precautions, fire safety, infection control and sanitation procedures, and Era Living policies and procedures.
• Sensitive to the needs and concerns of older adults.
• Ability to use a computer, with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Pass DSHS background check, required.

Education and Experience

• Current WA State LPN or RN.
• 1 years’ nursing experience, required.
• 3 to 5 years of experience, preferred.
• Experience caring for older adults in residential settings (Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing Facility, or Home Health), preferred.
• Previous employee management experience, preferred.
• Food Handler’s Certificate or able to obtain within 14 days of hire.
