Assisted Living Life Enrichment Coordinator

Essential Functions

• Promote resident socialization, growth, and development by planning and executing resident activities
• Aid the Director of Life Enrichment with programming and activities according to Life Enrichment standards and resident interests
• Format and distribute digital and print calendars
• Digital and print communications and announcements
• Room and event set up and reset
• Resident profile, life story, directory record-keeping
• Transportation requests, including Educational Outings
• Drive residents in community vehicles to social events, various appointments, and special events
• Operate a company vehicle or personal vehicle (as required) to perform job duties
• Work enthusiastically to enhance our residents' quality of life by offering enriching arts, culture, and wellness programs
• May also assist with the Independent Living residents as needed
• Work in a high-pressure environment, interact with difficult customers/vendors, handle urgent matters, resolve conflicts, have effective interpersonal skills

Qualifications and Education

• Clean driving record
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience in related field

Background Check Process

This includes criminal background checks, fingerprinting (where applicable), and drug testing.

• Typically operates indoors with possible exposure to blood borne pathogens or other potentially infectious material
• Typically operates indoors in an air-conditioned office, with a mixture of natural, incandescent and fluorescent light
• May be exposed to varying weather conditions such as heat, cold, rain, and snow is common
• May occasionally be exposed to extreme conditions, including high heat, humidity, freezing temperatures, and heavy rain while performing outdoor tasks
• Periodically be confined to a vehicle
