Life Enrichment Coordinator - Full Time - Assisted Living

Touchmark on West Prospect is the Fox Valley's leading full-service retirement community, dedicated to enriching the lives of residents and their families through engaging programs, hospitality, and connection. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Life Enrichment Coordinator to plan and lead activities that bring excitement, purpose, and joy to our Assisted Living residents.

What you'll do

• Plan, schedule, and facilitate daily programs, social events, classes, and excursions that promote wellness across all dimensions — physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual.
• Encourage participation and foster community engagement among residents.
• Coordinate special events, intergenerational programs, and outings.
• Partner with Dining Services and other departments for community celebrations and theme events.
• Document attendance, participation, and feedback to continuously improve programming.
• Assist with recruitment of volunteers and outside entertainment.

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree or coursework in recreation, hospitality, or human services preferred.
• Experience planning and leading activities in a senior living, hospitality, or recreational setting.
• Strong organizational, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

Full Time (weekend and Holiday rotation)

Pay

$17.70–$19.90/hour based on experience.
