About the role
This position offers the opportunity to work on zoning administration, code enforcement, land development review, and community planning while helping guide responsible growth throughout the Township.
Responsibilities
- Review zoning permits, subdivision plans, and land development applications.
- Affiliate with administration and enforcement of the Township Zoning Code and Pennsylvania Uniform Construction Code (UCC).
- Conduct field inspections and investigate zoning compliance issues.
- Work with residents, developers, contractors, and business owners to answer questions and resolve concerns.
- Prepare reports and recommendations for the Planning Commission, Board of Supervisors, and Zoning Hearing Board.
- Affiliate with development agreements, easements, financial securities, and other planning-related documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Planning, Public Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in municipal planning, zoning, code enforcement, or a related field.
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License.
- Ability to obtain ICC Zoning Inspector Certification within six months.
Preferred
- AICP Certification.
- Knowledge of the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code (MPC), UCC, zoning regulations, and land development processes.

Pay
Salary Range: $50,639 – $67,367, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
