Assistant Wrestling Coach

About the role

This position is within New Hanover County Schools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement athletic programs that promote student learning and development
• Collaborate with other coaches and school staff to ensure a safe and inclusive environment
• Assist in the organization and supervision of practices and games
• Maintain communication with parents and guardians regarding team activities

Requirements

• Current certification as an athletic coach from the North Carolina State Department of Public Instruction
• Experience coaching at the high school level
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Qualifications

• Knowledge of relevant sports and physical education curriculum
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Pass a background check

Pay
