Position Summary
The Assistant Women's Golf Coach is responsible for providing coaching and administrative assistance to the Head Women's Golf Coach. This position is also responsible for promoting the philosophy and objectives of the intercollegiate athletics program, including adherence to all department policies and procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the University, the Big Ten Conference, and the NCAA.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Two years of collegiate or professional golf-playing experience.
Professional Competencies
- Knowledge of NCAA rules.
- Excellent written, interpersonal, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and students from a variety of diverse backgrounds and demonstrated dedication to the full academic and social development of student-athletes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Affiliation with Division I, highly successful women’s golf program(s).
- Full understanding of providing quality student-athlete experience.
- Proven significant skill development of student-athletes both individually and collectively or significant professional playing experience.
