About the role
The Assistant Vice President Collateral Management is responsible for directing all aspects of the operations for collateral servicing functions to meet the organization’s operating and strategic needs.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the build of the centralized repository for all collateral activity
- Request, monitor and audit collateral exception reports from all custodial entities
- Review and determine collateral deficiencies for entire population of 60+ loans, extensive analysis of default population
- Partner with Portfolio Strategy team to determine potential population ready for GNMA pooling
- Orchestrate the movement of collateral files for different reasons, i.e. payoff, liquidation, sales etc.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years of relevant work experience
- Must be highly proficient in Excel and Word
- Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferred
