About the role
The Assistant Coach will support the head coach in developing sport-specific skills and promoting sportsmanship among the girls volleyball team.
Responsibilities
- Support the head coach in game planning and strategy development
- Assist in the organization and supervision of practices
- Work with the head coach to develop players' technical and tactical skills
- Encourage positive sportsmanship and teamwork among players
Requirements
- Current State of Connecticut Coaching Permit
- Completed Module 15 Concussion training
- Current First Aid/CPR certification
Qualifications
- Experience coaching high school volleyball
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
