Assistant Vice President, SLA Coordinator
About the role
Responsible for overseeing and governing all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) between BNPP entities of the North American Region and the rest of BNP Paribas Group entities worldwide. This includes documenting all services exchanged between BNP Paribas entities and serving as the point of contact for any SLAs related to the North American Region (scope includes U.S. entities as service provider or recipient of services).
Responsibilities
- Manage the SLA process from introduction to entities to negotiating its details.
- Perform business analysis, guide and advise business owners, relevant stakeholders, and senior management on how to properly document a relationship and assist in the development or improvement of SLAs to facilitate services among the various entities of BNP Paribas.
- Manage and coordinate the development or improvement of the Agreement Process from initial analysis and optimize already existing Agreements to facilitate services among the various different BNP Paribas entities.
- Facilitate technical and legal negotiations with entities involved in North America functions (notably Tax, Compliance, Finance, Data Office, Legal, Third-Party Risk Management) on specifics relating to the Agreements, establish review process, manage version control, channel feedback, and provide clarifications with the support of the legal department and/or business sponsors if required.
- Facilitate and manage the editorial, review, and proof-read process together with concerned entities ensuring Agreements are written in a clear, concise, and precise manner, agreeable and understandable by all parties involved.
- Maintain SLA framework by ensuring SLAs are drafted and executed in line with regulatory requirements and Third-Party Risk Management Framework for affiliates, including but not limited to respective onboarding in BNP Paribas TPRM (Third Party Risk Management) tools with respect to monitoring risk arrangements and risk rating.
- Coordinate with Operational Control to assess RCSA of business activities, accurately map relevant data points such as process codes following the Bank Group Taxonomy, and onboard SLA relationships in CIB TPRM tools such as RISK360 and Process Unity to monitor risk arrangements.
- Perform annual gap analysis, including coordinating with cost accounting teams to extract data from various tools and run analysis on territory group charges, step 1.5, and cost-plus invoices. Followed by in-depth research and analysis regarding identified gaps, cross-checking referential data with business line cost allocation methodologies, revenue sharing, and métier/entity mapping.
- Manage year-round SLA recertification in accordance with RISK417 Outsourcing policy, ensuring accurate and timely attestation of SLA accuracy as it relates to services provided, related pricing, and risk levels documented. Ensure necessary changes are managed through the controlled workflow process of termination or recertification.
- Provide technical support and guidance to business sponsors or other parties involved in using BNPP tools (DOCS and Argos) and maintain the electronic library in the local NAR SharePoint site and the global Argos repository, once fully implemented.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (US or Foreign Equivalent) in Data Analytics, Operations research, or related field.
- One (1) year of experience in inter-affiliate SLA coordination.
- One (1) year of experience with:
- Strong analytical, business analysis, and financial data reconciliation skills;
- Developing interactive dashboards using data visualization tools such as Power BI;
- In-depth understanding and interpretation of legal entity structure and jurisdiction in multinational corporation settings;
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Excel VBA, Power Query, and Power Pivot functions;
- Regulatory and internal control knowledge of inter-entity agreements;
- Intermediate project management skills for projects related to trade workflow design, regulatory reporting remediation, and gap analysis and recommendations;
- High proficiency in managing and configuring SharePoint and similar cloud-based platforms;
- Proficiency in audit trail maintenance and regulatory compliance monitoring;
- Advanced capability to manage and coordinate full-cycle regulatory and operational processes and workflows;
- In-depth understanding of operational risk and control frameworks.

Pay
$103,200 - $125,000/year
Schedule
9am to 5pm, 40 hours a week. (Monday – Friday)
