About the role
The Assistant Vice President for Self Sufficiency will oversee career services, access, benefits navigation, and financial counseling programs. Leadership responsibilities include driving growth for Access, expanding centralized intake and scheduling, and coordinating services across the agency.
Responsibilities
- Ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness within the programs and service modalities listed above.
- Coordinate seamlessly with programs across JCFS.
- Develop leadership and management strength in pursuit of a strong succession plan.
- Leverage internal resources cross-functionally.
- Build synergies and collaborative efforts with community agencies and organizations.
- Promote automation of existing processes to support Agency growth.
- Provide training and advice on LEAN transformation, root cause analysis, change management, and continuous improvement best practices.
- Identify and capture diverse funding streams for services and programs.
- Solicit both annual and endowment giving to maximize philanthropic support.
- Maintain a strong relationship with Jewish Federation for consistent support.
Requirements
- Master's degree in business, Behavioral Health, Psychology, Health/Administration or related field from an accredited College/University or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of increasingly responsible management experience in human services including program development, financial management, and strategic planning.
- Experience in developing and executing varied revenue models designed to ensure high quality of care and long-term sustainability of programs and services.
