About the role
The AVP of Lending is responsible for overseeing lending operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and managing loan portfolios.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of lending operations including underwriting, approval, and post-loan servicing.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
- Manage and mitigate credit risk through regular monitoring and reporting.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of lending processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in lending or financial services.
- Proven track record of successful loan portfolio management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience with loan underwriting software and systems.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance standards.
- Experience with financial modeling and analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
