About the role
The Assistant Vice President of Bridges and Structures is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of railroad bridges and structures. This position ensures compliance with federal regulations and oversees the implementation of safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of railroad bridges and structures
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and safety protocols
- Manage a team of bridge and structure engineers
- Develop and implement long-term strategies for infrastructure improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in railroad bridge and structure engineering
- Experience with federal regulatory compliance
- Strong leadership and management skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of railroad bridge and structure design and construction
- Ability to manage projects from conception to completion
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
