About the role

The Assistant Vice President for Media & Consumer Market Insight (CMI) Sourcing reports to the VP of Media & Marketing Sourcing, leading a dedicated team to shape partnerships across a $1.5Bn spend. This role bridges global sourcing functions, the Chief Digital & Marketing Office, and Finance leaders to drive value and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute long-term sourcing strategies and implementation roadmaps for media and consumer market intelligence (CMI).

  • Spearhead high-stakes negotiations for multi-million-dollar contracts with agencies and tech providers, working closely with Legal to ensure robust and favorable agreements.

  • Manage and evolve supplier relationships, implementing formal performance monitoring to ensure innovation and top-tier results.

  • Provide direct management to a sourcing team, focusing on their development, building a culture of excellence, and ensuring the hub is a center of expertise.

Requirements

  • Highly experienced background in the Media/Marketing industry, preferably within strategic sourcing.

  • Strategic Business Acumen to develop long-term vision and roadmaps.

  • Expert Negotiation Skills for complex, high-value contracts.

  • Proven Stakeholder Management ability to influence and act as a valued partner.

  • Strong Leadership & People Development skills to inspire and grow your team.

  • Adept in Data & Analytics to drive financial reporting and prove value.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing, preferably in the media and marketing industry.

  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving strategic initiatives.

  • Proven success in negotiating complex contracts and managing vendor relationships.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
