Assistant Vice President, Indirect Sourcing, Media & CMI
About the role
The Assistant Vice President for Media & Consumer Market Insight (CMI) Sourcing reports to the VP of Media & Marketing Sourcing, leading a dedicated team to shape partnerships across a $1.5Bn spend. This role bridges global sourcing functions, the Chief Digital & Marketing Office, and Finance leaders to drive value and innovation.
Responsibilities
Design and execute long-term sourcing strategies and implementation roadmaps for media and consumer market intelligence (CMI).
Spearhead high-stakes negotiations for multi-million-dollar contracts with agencies and tech providers, working closely with Legal to ensure robust and favorable agreements.
Manage and evolve supplier relationships, implementing formal performance monitoring to ensure innovation and top-tier results.
Provide direct management to a sourcing team, focusing on their development, building a culture of excellence, and ensuring the hub is a center of expertise.
Requirements
Highly experienced background in the Media/Marketing industry, preferably within strategic sourcing.
Strategic Business Acumen to develop long-term vision and roadmaps.
Expert Negotiation Skills for complex, high-value contracts.
Proven Stakeholder Management ability to influence and act as a valued partner.
Strong Leadership & People Development skills to inspire and grow your team.
Adept in Data & Analytics to drive financial reporting and prove value.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing, preferably in the media and marketing industry.
Experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving strategic initiatives.
Proven success in negotiating complex contracts and managing vendor relationships.
